It's Only Rock 'N' Roll (But I Like It)

Ladies and gentlemen, The Rolling Stones are back. It’s not about guitars or screaming mobs: it is for readers and real art lovers. Four members, over 50 years of career and 27 studio albums gathered in over 500 pages.

Taschen tells the story of the most famous still playing band who paved the way for rock as we know it today. From the beginnings with Brian Jones, to the great success and their “Golden Age” as the anti-Beatles, from the covers of international magazines to the Sixties, Seventies, Eighties, Nineties and, after almost ten years, the great return with A Bigger Bang (Virgin Records, 2005).

Photographs and illustrations, many previously unseen gathered from archives all over the world, like the Rolling Stones’ own archives in New York and London, images from some of the world’s greatest photographers (including Annie Leibovitz, Cecil Beaton and Helmut Newton, just to name a few), not to talk about the incredible foreword written by President Bill Clinton. The 1,150 copies have been all numbered and signed by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts.

And as the book itself says, “It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It)”. A great “Satisfaction”, isn’t it?
