On October 20th 2015, for one night only, Montblanc transformed Casa del Lago, Chapultepec the historical center of Mexico City into a world reminiscent of the style, glamour and innovation of the 1930s. Under the stars, VIP guests including Mexican Actress Ana de la Reguera, Kate del Castillo, Olivier Montserrat and international blogger Adam Gallagher joined the Maison for an unforgettable evening as they discovered the new contemporary timepieces from Montblanc 1858.

With vintage lines and historical design features, the new collection is inspired by the chronometer watches created throughout the prestigious Minerva manufacture’s 157-year history. The first series in the Montblanc 1858 collection reinterprets the chronograph launched by the Minerva manufacture in the 1930s. To draw the guests closer to the spirit of innovation that defined the 1930s, the original design of the cocktail hour evoked the world of aviation during that era.
