On one hand there’s a bold blue dial, a geometric rope motif that links the watch to its nautical origins, and the pointed hands so “present” in marking the time that they seem to “call” the numbers on the face. A limited edition of 500 pieces featuring a leather strap with deployment buckle. On the other hand, there’s a timepiece of antique beauty, with a warm ivory-coloured dial and simple Roman numeral XII, linear with hour markers outlined in gold.

Since the watchmaker’s origins in Le Locle, Switzerland, in 1823, Ulysse Nardin has always been a point of reference for pocket and marine chronometers for both civil and military use. Today, the firm has decided to win over both traditionalists and contemporary enthusiasts of haute horlogerie with the new collection of timepieces called Dual Time.

Diameter of 42 mm, calibre UN-334, 11 ¾‘’’, movement produced in-house , silicon escapement, automatic winding with power reserve of close to 48 hours, water resistant to 30 m, 49 rubies set around a sapphire crystal which, like the back, is anti-reflective. For almost 170 years, Ulysse Nardin has advanced in the wake of its solid nautical roots, always with a gaze fixed on the horizon. A horizon that is both traditional and innovative, just like the new, exclusive Dual Time collection.
