Not Frankfurt but Bankfurt, as German people use to call it. But it is also known as Meinhattan, that is Manhattan on the Main for the highest sky-scrapers of Europe, and Big Äppel, the German Big Apple for the traditional local cider (Äppelwoi). It is Frankfurt, the German New York City: with its 227 banks it is the first Stock Exchange of the Country, heart of German economy and main financial hub of Europe, after London. Euro’s destiny is managed in these glass and steel sky-scrapers (designed by archistars like sir Norman Foster), heights which measure the power of banking groups they represent. But Frankfurt is not only business. It is a city made of art, great culture and cuisine.

Here there are 10 addresses of a maybe surprising discover itinerary.
