Open from last June, this original hotel (otherwise known as Rose Tascher de la Pagerie, or simply Jobo) is dedicated to the figure of Josephine Bonaparte. In the beautiful Marais district of Paris, it was developed by the designer Bambi Sloan, and within it the favorite decorating style by Joséphine can be found everywhere. But not only that: the lives and loves of the first wife of Napoleon, are called everywhere.

For example, his love for the roses, which can be found in the hotel, from vintage wallpaper reprinted in the rooms, or in the image of Napoleon’s campaign in the lobby. There are only 24 bedrooms. Its is a sort of toile de Jouy tissue’s party. Some rooms overlook the entrance courtyard, others the fire station. Curiously, the prints in black and white Directoire style are almost more frenetic than those inspired by the Revolution or pink roses in rows, while the leopard spots rooms have a more contemporary spirit. You just have to try and choose what fits best to your mood.
