Fasten your seat belt, the great events of June, “Goodwood” of June and September 2014 is about to begin. People and cars, that has made and make the history of automotive world, together with the general public, will be the protagonists of Goodwood Festival of Speed (June, 26th – 29th) and Goodwood Revival Meeting (September 12th – 14th). After the 72th Goodwood Members’ Meeting (March 29th – 30th) and the Glorious Goodwood (July 29th – August 2nd) with the amazing horses that run the Goodwood Racecourse in Chichester, West Sussex, a few km from the English Channel.
Among the most precious cars, Fiat S76 – that in 1911 held the (unofficial) speed record with more than 135 miles per hour (217 km/h) – Maserati Tipo 26B from 1930, one of the flagships of Tridente that this year turns 100, and a Mini that won the Monte Carlo Rally in 1967, here driven by the “flying Finn” Rauno Aaltonen. A unique homage will be dedicated to Sir Jack Brabham, three times Formula 1 World Champion, who died recently.
