Winston Churchill Collection

February 11th, 2015

Fifty years after the death of Sir Winston Churchill (30th November 1874 – 24th January 1965), Turnbull & Asser launches a Commemorative Collection dedicated to one of the most leading figures of modern culture, who was also a loyal customer of the brand.

An ironic and elegant line, in perfect Churchill-style, made of iconic garments the statesman loved and worn, like the Siren Suit – created according to the “uncomfortable” spaces of air-raid shelters WWII – ties, bow ties, leather goods and foulards depicting British politician’s stylized face or the famous “British Bulldog” caricature.

Sir Winston Churchill was symbol of the high class that loves the elegance of details and fine refinement. A custom-made piece created according to customer’s nature, according to British modus operandi, distinguishes Turnbull & Asser‘s creations. The well-known brand, British Royal Family’s shirtmaker, has always created items for the most eminent men and the most elegant dandies, since 1885 to nowadays.

130 years of sartorial tradition expressed through the ironic combination of elegance and tradition. From the historical headquarters in Jermyn Street in London to the other two London stores and the boutique on 57th street in New York City, Turnbull & Asser is still symbol of a timeless elegance and unique quality.
