Born in 1990, Manfredi Conti Manara presents his eponymous women’s shoe collection. Following studies in London and various stints in Paris and New York, Manfredi was soon compelled to create his own universe in women’s fashion in Italy. He refines the artisan footwear techniques in the most important districts of Northern Italy known all over the world. The first collection consists of pieces with classic shapes that celebrate the woman’s exhilaration and femininity. His creations are designed for elegant women but at the same time young and dynamic.

Most are embellished with tailored trimmings; tassels and colored fringes evoke the elegance of the interior decorations typical of baroque drapery noble palaces. The shoes have names of heroes and characters of epic poems, such ad Marfisa and Bradamante, heroines of Orlando Furioso poem by Ludovico Ariosto. Distinctive elements such as Agramante perfectly embody the aesthetics of the brand, playing with leather strips from the best Lombard tanners framed in delicate Piedmont fabric trimmings.
